FOOD FOR THE SOUL

WHEN ISRAEL WAS GIVEN MANNA
IN THE WILDERNESS OF SIN
SOME DID NOT KNOW WHAT IT WAS
IT WAS A GIFT FROM YAH TO THEM

IT RAINED DOWN FROM HEAVEN
LIKE THE EARLY MORNING DEW
THE FATHER WOULD SUPPLY THEIR NEED
THEIR HUNGER WOULD BE SUBDUED

EACH DAY HE WOULD PROVIDE FOR THEM
NEVER LETTING GO
OF THE PROMISE HE WOULD CARE FOR THEM
IN THE WILDERNESS OF OLD

WHEN THE FATHER SENT HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON
DO YOU KNOW THE REASON WHY
HE WAS TO BE THE MANNA
TO KEEP OUR SOULS ALIVE

AFTER YAH HAMASHIACH  PAID THE PRICE
AND GAVE HIS LIFE THAT DAY
HE WAS TO RISE AND LIVE AGAIN
HE WOULD PROVIDE ANOTHER WAY

THIS WOULD ALSO BE A GIFT FROM YAH
TO SEND MANNA FROM ABOVE
SO THAT OUR SOULS MIGHT BE FED
A GIFT FROM YAH IN LOVE

THIS WOULD BE THE MANNA
THAT IS TO FEED OUR SOULS
THIS WOULD BE THE MANNA
TO HELP US MAKE US GROW

IF WE EAT OF HIS DAILY BREAD
BY PARTAKING OF HIS WORD
WE NO LONGER NEED TO HUNGER
FOR WE KNOW HIS WORD IS PURE

JUST LIKE IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF OLD
YAH SUPPLIES US WITH HIS LOVE
BY SENDING MANNA TO FEED OUR SOULS
HE SENT HIS  SPIRIT FROM ABOVE

OUR FATHER HE STILL CARES FOR US
LIKE IN THIS WILDERNESS OF OLD
HIS PROMISES THEY STILL HOLD TRUE
OF SO MANY YEARS AGO

“And Yahwah said to Moses, “See I am raining bread from heaven for you”. (Exo. 16:31). The people called the bread manna”. (Exo. 16:35).

“Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. This is that bread which came down from heaven, not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead; he that eateth of this manna shall live forever”. (John 6:57-58).

“I have heard the grumbling of the Israelites. “Tell them, “At twilight you will eat meat, and in the morning you will be filled with bread. Then you shall know that I am your Elohim. That evening quail came and covered the camp, and in the morning there was a layer of dew around the camp. When the dew was gone, thin flacks like frost on the ground appeared on the desert floor”. (Exo, 16:12-14

“Your forefathers ate manna in the desert, yet they died. But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which a man may eat and not die”. (John 6:49-50).
